More details have emerged in a terrifying crash on the set of Eddie Murphy's new movie The Pickup on Saturday which saw eight people hospitalized after a stunt went terribly wrong.
Filming was paused on the production - also starring Keke Palmer - after the crash which saw an armored vehicle strike a car driving alongside it during filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
The two vehicles then left the road and both flipped over, rolling several times - seen in harrowing footage of the crash obtained by TMZ.
First responders took eight people to hospitals following the crash, the Georgia State Patrol confirmed to People.
Two crew members who were seated in the back of the armored car were ejected when the car's back doors opened, sustaining life-threatening injuries.

A third passenger in the back area also sustained serious injuries, though they were not ejected, per the GSP.
Five people were taken to Atlanta's Grady Memorial Hospital and three more were taken to WellStar Cobb Medical Center in Austell, Georgia for treatment.
One remains hospitalized with a back injury, per NYT.
Filming appeared to have resumed on Friday as crew members gathered to film a scene.
The accident took place during a 'second unit action sequence' that was previously rehearsed, as per an Amazon spokesperson.
'Unfortunately, the sequence did not go as planned and several members of the crew were injured as a result,' the spokesperson stated.
'We are still in the process of gathering facts on what happened and why, but first and foremost our thoughts are with those who are recovering.'
'The well-being of the entire crew and cast is our first priority, and we will continue to insist on the highest industry standards of safety while filming. All safety precautions were reviewed prior to and monitored during the shoot.'

On Tuesday, it was reported by The Associated Press that the incident was a car crash which took place when a truck 'locked up' and hit another vehicle.
'It was a completely freak accident,' an anonymous source told the AP, adding that the stunt being performed wasn't considered especially dangerous.
The source claimed two crewmembers were hospitalized due to the accident, and one remained in the hospital Tuesday.
The injuries 'ranged from bumps and bruises to broken bones.'
'The crew union IATSE also released a statement that said, 'IATSE is aware of an accident that took place on the Georgia set of The Pickup and have started an inquiry.'
The plot of the film is being kept under wraps, although Deadline reports the movie will be a heist comedy.
The film also stars Eva Longoria and Pete Davidson.
Last month the duo were seen on set in Atlanta and appeared to be sporting some shiners. The actress, 49, had a bruise on her face, courtesy of the makeup department.
